2008
The Beginning
'God With Us' has become a staple, a tradition even, during the Easter season since 2008. Please do not let this become just a tradition for you. Pray with us that God would use this story, His message to all of us, will bring us back to Him like never before.
2013
Change
'God With Us' is a living message. Many of those involved have witnessed great things including change, growth in faith, and the power of what God can do. Most who have been involved have had the privilege of watching children grow and have encountered sadness of loved ones moving on.
2020
Postponed, Not Canceled
Through the years, 'God With Us' has encountered and overcome many challenges, storms, and triumphs. The passion play may have taken a brief pause, but God's love did not.
GALATIONS 6:9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
2023
The Return
After a short pause on performances, in 2023 'God With Us' made their return. Today the passion play continues presenting the message of Christ's sacrifice and His amazing love for us. This Easter, join us to see what God has done!
More about our cast and the presentation:
Our group begins rehearsals in February and our cast consists of many different denominations and ages. We put our hearts into every scene and every song and put numerous hours into ensuring our presentation is biblically accurate. God With Us is more than a church play, it is a passion play. A Passion play is a dramatic representation of the trial, suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus. While “Passion” is a Christian theological term used to express Jesus's spiritual, emotional, and physical pain before and during the crucifixion, Passion plays also portray events earlier in Jesus's life. You will see our performance often starts with the birth of Jesus and moves through a time when Jesus was a child.The cast often refers to our performances as an experience. There are a lot of emotional moments, but there are a lot of fun moments too. This group is truly a family!Enjoy this small glimpse into our God With Us family.
